Why it's interesting
For the Carrera's 60th birthday TAG Heuer curved the sapphire over the tachymeter scale like the domed acrylic of the 1970s, and it transforms the watch. At 39 mm, with silver counters on black and the date pushed up to 12, it is the most convincingly vintage modern TAG in years — without a speck of fake patina.

About this page
Partly verified, checked September 2026
Most specifications were checked against the sources below. Fields that couldn't be confirmed are noted or left blank.
tagheuer.com refused every request (HTTP 403). 39 mm, domed sapphire, 100 m, TH20-00 and the date at 12 from TAG's press release (reproduced by My WatchSite) and Time and Watches; thickness is Watches of Switzerland's rounded 14 mm case depth. Lug width and lug-to-lug not confirmed. Drawing simplified: the tachymeter sits on the inner flange under the crystal but is drawn as a bezel insert, and the date window at 12 is not drawn.
The illustration is a bezelga rendering generated from the specifications. It is not a photograph and may simplify details such as logos, text and finishing.
