How bezelga works

Every specification comes from a source we can point to: the manufacturer's product page or manual first, then authorised retailers and reputable reviews when the maker doesn't publish a number. Each watch page lists its sources and says whether it is verified (dimensions, water resistance, movement and crystal all confirmed), partly verified (something couldn't be confirmed, and we say what), or pending.

If a number can't be confirmed we leave it blank rather than guess. Prices are indicative manufacturer RRPs in euros, converted where a brand only lists another currency; conversions are noted on the page.

bezelga does not copy photographs from brand sites, retailers or search engines. Every watch has a standardised illustration drawn from its specifications: case shape, dimensions, bezel, dial colour and texture, hands and strap. Because every illustration uses the same millimetre scale, you can compare sizes honestly, and the lume view and dimension drawings come from the same data.

Photographs appear only when we have the right to show them: images supplied by brands, photographers or partners with a recorded licence, and photos members upload themselves. Each stored image carries its source, licence, photographer and credit line.

When you upload a photo you confirm you took it. You keep the copyright and give bezelga permission to display it on the site and in share previews. You can delete it at any time. Location data is stripped from every upload.

Found a wrong number, or a watch that belongs here? The catalogue is maintained as structured data with sources attached. Corrections need a link to a primary source. New watches are judged on one question: is it interesting?

bezelga isn't affiliated with any watch brand. Brand names and model names belong to their owners and are used to describe their products. If we ever link to retailers, those links will be labelled.
