Why it's interesting
The Big Bang took Hublot's porthole and turned it into a thick, layered chronograph, and it set the tone for a whole era of oversized sports watches. The steel 'Original' keeps the first design: six H-shaped screws in the bezel, a matte black dial with red accents and a structured rubber strap.

About this page
Partly verified, checked September 2026
Most specifications were checked against the sources below. Fields that couldn't be confirmed are noted or left blank.
hublot.com refused automated requests, so every case figure (44 mm, 14.5 mm, 100 m, sapphire) and the HUB4100 come from one authorised retailer's listing (Watches of Switzerland); marked partial for that reason. Its 'year 2006' field is ambiguous, so year is null. Lug-to-lug and lug width not published. Drawing simplified: the bezel has six H-shaped screws (the renderer draws eight round ones), the chronograph pushers and the black composite inserts at the case sides aren't drawn, and the real dial's applied numerals at 2, 4, 8 and 10 are drawn as batons (only the 12 is drawn as a numeral); the tread-pattern rubber strap is drawn with the waffle pattern.
The illustration is a bezelga rendering generated from the specifications. It is not a photograph and may simplify details such as logos, text and finishing.
