Why it's interesting
One of the few ways to get a column-wheel, vertical-clutch chronograph for under €2,000: Seiko's NE88 in a broad, softly shaped 42 mm case. The reverse-panda layout on its bracelet is the sportiest version.

About this page
Partly verified, checked September 2026
Most specifications were checked against the sources below. Fields that couldn't be confirmed are noted or left blank.
Venezianico gives the thickness only as 11.7 mm 'without crystal', plus a 1.9 mm double-domed sapphire, so the overall height isn't published and thicknessMm is left blank rather than adding the two. Lug width 22 mm from Venezianico's own strap page ('Bucintoro 42'), matching Windup and Cinci Watches. Launch year not confirmed: Cinci reviewed the 42 mm NE88 version in June 2024, and aBlogtoWatch's May 2023 review is of the earlier 40 mm NE86 Bucintoro, a different watch. No date window on this dial although the NE88 has a date. Weight unpublished.
