Why it's interesting
The 1979 Polo, back in its original form: case, dial and bracelet in solid gold, carved into alternating polished gadroons and brushed bands, with an ultra-thin micro-rotor calibre keeping it to 7.45 mm. It is the integrated-bracelet idea taken to its logical end, where the watch and the jewellery become one object.

About this page
Verified specifications, checked September 2026
Dimensions, water resistance, movement and crystal were checked against the sources below.
Diameter, 7.45 mm, 5 bar, the 1200P1 and sapphire case back from Piaget; front sapphire and the February 2024 launch from Monochrome. Lug-to-lug not published. Drawing simplified: the gadrooned case, which widens into flat flanks at 3 and 9, is drawn as a plain gold cushion (a round case showed lugs and read as a dress watch), and the pearl-dot minute track isn't drawn.
The illustration is a bezelga rendering generated from the specifications. It is not a photograph and may simplify details such as logos, text and finishing.
