Why it's interesting
The successor to the 5711 now comes only in white gold, a metal that looks exactly like steel — either the ultimate in discretion or a very expensive in-joke. The horizontally embossed blue dial is still the point: it is the thing every integrated-bracelet watch, at any price, ends up being measured against.

Dimensions, water resistance, movement and crystal were checked against the sources below.
Diameter (10–4 o'clock), 8.2 mm, 30 m and movement from Patek; Monochrome's launch article says 8.3 mm and 120 m — Patek's own figures are used. Front sapphire crystal per Monochrome (Patek lists only the sapphire case back). Lug-to-lug not published. Drawing simplified: the rounded-octagon 'porthole' bezel is drawn as the cushion case shape (closer to the real outline than the octagon, which read as a Royal Oak), the hinge-like 'ears' at 3 and 9 are not drawn, and the cushion-shaped dial is drawn round.
