Why it's interesting
The Riviera was Baume & Mercier's 1973 entry in the steel sports-watch race, and the 2021 revival keeps its twelve-sided bezel and four screws. The smoked sapphire dial lets you see into the Baumatic calibre, whose five-day power reserve is the real headline at this price.

Dimensions, water resistance, movement and crystal were checked against the sources below.
baume-et-mercier.com refused automated requests, so specs come from Brogle (authorised dealer: 42 mm, 10.66 mm, 100 m, sapphire, BM13-1975A) and Time and Watches' 2021 review, which agree. Brogle still lists the reference as available; one US dealer calls it part of a 'heritage' collection, which couldn't be checked against the brand site. Time and Watches gives 23 mm at the narrowest point of the bracelet; lug-to-lug is not published. Drawing simplified: the twelve-sided bezel is drawn as the octagon and its four screws are left off (the renderer would draw eight, which reads as a Royal Oak); the applied XII and VI Roman numerals are drawn as batons.
