Why it's interesting
Jörg Hysek's 1977 '222' was Vacheron's answer to the Royal Oak and the Nautilus. Back in steel at the original 37 mm, with a notched bezel, just two hands and a little gold Maltese cross set into the case at five, it's one of the most faithful of the modern integrated-bracelet revivals.

Dimensions, water resistance, movement and crystal were checked against the sources below.
37 × 7.95 mm, 5 bar, calibre 2455/2, dial and German price from Vacheron Constantin (read through a text-rendering proxy because the site times out for scripted requests). VC lists only the sapphire case back; Monochrome confirms sapphire crystals front and back and dates the steel model to January 2025 (WatchBase: produced 2025). Lug-to-lug and bracelet width not published. Drawing: the tonneau-shaped monobloc case is drawn round (the renderer's shaped cases can't carry a round notched bezel), the notched bezel is approximated with the coin-edge bezel, and the gold Maltese cross on the case at 5 o'clock is not drawn. Two hands only (no seconds), per VC's function list and Monochrome.
