Why it's interesting
The flatter, quieter sibling of the Santos: the same screwed square bezel, but a 7.5 mm case, a beaded crown with a blue spinel and a Piaget-derived hand-wound calibre. It is a dress watch carrying one of the oldest stories in wristwatches — the aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont reputedly asking Louis Cartier for something he could read in flight.
