Why it's interesting
The Tuna's shrouded case shrunk to 38.7 mm and powered by light. The Safari colourway swaps the usual black for olive and sand, so one of Seiko's most industrial shapes reads like field kit, and at 10.4 mm thick it wears nothing like a dive tool.

Picked one up second-hand and it has quietly become my travel watch.
About this page
Partly verified, checked September 2026
Most specifications were checked against the sources below. Fields that couldn't be confirmed are noted or left blank.
Single source: the Corvus Brasil retailer spec table (the page doesn't say it is an authorised Seiko dealer). No Seiko product page was found for SUT405P1 on seikowatches.com (global) or seikousa.com; the P1 suffix and Brazilian listing suggest a regional model, unconfirmed. Dial and strap colours were read from the retailer's product photo. Lug-to-lug, weight, launch year and a European RRP are unknown; production status unconfirmed (listed as available to order).
The illustration is a bezelga rendering generated from the specifications. It is not a photograph and may simplify details such as logos, text and finishing.
