Why it's interesting
Gérald Genta's 1976 Ingenieur SL, re-engineered: a five-screw bezel, a grid-patterned dial and a bracelet that flows straight out of the case. The soft-iron inner case keeps the engineer's-watch brief honest, and 45.7 mm lug to lug makes it wear smaller than the spec sheet suggests.
