chanel.com blocked automated reading (bot protection), so specs come from Monochrome's 2022 launch article (33 mm polished black ceramic, steel unidirectional bezel with varnished sapphire insert, sapphire crystal and exhibition back, screw-down crown with guards, 200 m, calibre 12.2, reference H5696 for black) and Lepage, a French Chanel retailer (launch year 2022, €7,650; the J12 itself was created in 2000). Thickness is not published for H5696 in any source read (Monochrome gives 12.94 mm for the 2026 J12 Bleu 33 mm, a different model), so it is null. Lug-to-lug and lug width unpublished. Drawing: the real bezel insert is glossy black sapphire over a notched steel edge, marked with 5-minute batons and a '0' at the top rather than a triangle and minute ticks; the J12 wordmark under the centre is not drawn.
