Omega's answer to 'which vintage-style diver should I buy?': the 1957 Seamaster 300's broad-arrow hands, sandwich dial and aged-lume tones, in a 41 mm case with a Master Chronometer calibre. The 2021 update shortened the lugs and swapped Liquidmetal for a scratch-resistant aluminium bezel, which suits it better.

The 2021 update (41 mm case, shorter lugs and endlinks, aluminium instead of Liquidmetal on steel models, 8912) from aBlogtoWatch; Fratello's owner confirms a 2021 steel black-dial example (it quotes 14.4 mm thick; Omega's 13.85 mm is used). Drawing: the triangular hour markers are simplified to the renderer's batons.
