Why it's interesting
Bulgari's faceted octagon is the least conventional shape among the luxury sports watches, and the Finissimo squeezes it to 6.4 mm around a platinum micro-rotor calibre barely over 2 mm tall. In steel with a blue sunray dial it is the most wearable way into one of the defining designs of the last decade.

Case (40 mm, 6.40 mm), 100 m, front and back sapphire and the BVL 138 from Monochrome's hands-on with this reference (June 2020, availability July 2020); the 2020 review of the black-dial 103297 gives the same case and movement data. Current status and price from Bucherer's German and Swiss listings. Lug-to-lug not published. Drawing simplified: the real bezel is round inside an octagonal case, but the renderer's octagon draws the bezel edge as an octagon too; the small seconds sit at about 7 o'clock on the real dial but are drawn at 6; the '12' and '6' Arabic numerals are drawn as batons.
