Why it's interesting
TAG Heuer's 1986 Formula 1 was a colourful gateway into Swiss watches, and the 2025 revival keeps the spirit: the stepped 'décroché' case, shield-shaped markers and a red flange. It is now 38 mm, 9.9 mm thin and solar-powered — up to ten months on a full charge, with a battery rated for 15 years.

About this page
Verified specifications, checked September 2026
Dimensions, water resistance, movement and crystal were checked against the sources below.
tagheuer.com product pages refused every request (HTTP 403). 38 mm, 100 m, sapphire, TH50-00, dial, bezel and bracelet from TAG Heuer's April 2025 brochure, which also cites the 1986 original. 9.9 mm thickness and 45.2 mm lug-to-lug from OnTheDash and Watch Advice (Revolution: 'just under 10 mm'). 2025 launch at Watches and Wonders per Revolution. Lug width not confirmed (integrated-style lugs). Category 'sport': a bidirectional bezel, but only 100 m. Drawing: the stepped 'décroché' case and shield-shaped markers are simplified, and the bezel's five-minute numerals are drawn every ten minutes.
