Why it's interesting
The 1953 Airman was a pilot's watch built around a 24-hour dial, so the hour hand goes round once a day and noon sits at the bottom. This reissue adds a GMT hand, and it's still one of the most characterful ways to read two time zones.

About this page
Verified specifications, checked September 2026
Dimensions, water resistance, movement and crystal were checked against the sources below.
Diameter, 12 mm thickness, 30 m, sapphire, SW330-2 (25 jewels) and 22 mm band width from Glycine. Lug-to-lug 49 mm is from Gnomon's listing of the same case (GL0303). Glycine's product photo shows a mesh bracelet (spec: 'stainless steel bracelet, deployment clasp'). Drawing: the renderer has no 24-hour numeral dial, so 'arabic' stands in; the bezel lock screw at 4 o'clock isn't drawn. Year not confirmed.
The illustration is a bezelga rendering generated from the specifications. It is not a photograph and may simplify details such as logos, text and finishing.
